Kaynes Semicon Private Limited, a pioneering Indian semiconductor manufacturer, and Infineon Technologies, a global leader in semiconductor solutions, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore strategic collaboration opportunities in India’s fast-growing semiconductor market.

A key milestone of this partnership is the launch of the first Kaynes Semicon MEMS Microphone, powered by Infineon’s proven bare die technology. This Made in India innovation, designed for TWS earbuds, positions Kaynes Semicon at the forefront of next-generation wearable technology and marks a breakthrough in domestic semiconductor module manufacturing.

As part of the agreement, Infineon will also supply high-performance power solution bare die wafers, which Kaynes Semicon will package into discrete and module products tailored for Indian customers. The collaboration aims to create a cost-optimized, locally integrated supply chain that ensures high-performance, energy-efficient, and reliable semiconductor solutions with shorter lead times.

Together, the two companies will drive innovation across key industries, including:

  • Energy & Renewables – high-efficiency semiconductor solutions for solar, wind, and energy management.

  • Industrial & Consumer Applications – enhancing performance and energy efficiency in smart appliances and advanced manufacturing.

This partnership supports India’s push toward semiconductor self-reliance, strengthening local production, reducing import dependency, and laying the foundation for deeper engagement in advanced technologies that will power next-generation electronics.
