FUJIFILM Corporation announced that it has received the ‘Most Valuable Partner Award’, the highest recognition for semiconductor material suppliers, from Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. at the 2025 Material Day (M-day).

M-day, hosted by Samsung Electronics’ Materials Technology Group, is an annual event where semiconductor material suppliers gather to share the latest technological trends and recognize outstanding achievements.

This award recognizes Fujifilm’s significant contributions to the growth of Samsung Electronics’ semiconductor business. Fujifilm achieved the award by supplying a broad portfolio of advanced semiconductor materials, establishing production bases near customers to provide consistent supply of high-quality products, and offering rapid on-site support, thereby contributing to solve Samsung Electronics’ challenges. Among the 14 companies honored, this award represents the highest distinction.

Fujifilm believes this award reflects its proactive activities in Korea, where it has established a ‘local production for local consumption’ approach by operating factories near customers in Cheonan and Pyeongtaek, the latter commencing operations in December last year. This strategy has enabled Fujifilm to establish a robust ‘local support’ framework, allowing rapid, on-site responses to customer challenges. Fujifilm will continue to stay closely aligned with customer needs and strive to address the requirements for next-generation semiconductors.

Fujifilm is a global supplier of photoresists*1, photolithography-related materials*2, CMP slurries*3, post-CMP cleaners*4, thin-film chemicals*5, polyimides*6, high-purity process chemicals*7, and other process materials for semiconductor manufacturing from front-end to back-end processes. Fujifilm is also expanding globally with products such as WAVE CONTROL MOSAIC™*8, which includes color filter materials for image sensors.

Fujifilm will continue to contribute to the development of the semiconductor industry by providing one-stop solutions to solve customers’ issues through its broad product lineup that covers nearly all areas of the semiconductor manufacturing process, from cutting-edge to legacy nodes. Fujifilm also leverages its global stable supply system with manufacturing bases in major countries including Japan, the United States, Europe and other key locations across Asia, along with its advanced research and development capabilities.
