Syrma SGS Technology Ltd, a leading electronic manufacturing services (EMS) provider, has begun construction of a new printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing facility at Naidupeta in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati district.
The plant—being developed through its subsidiary, Syrma Strategic Electronics Pvt Ltd—is part of a ₹700-crore investment, supported by a 50% capital subsidy from the state government. The project aligns with Syrma SGS’s long-term strategy to deepen its presence in India’s electronics value chain.
Located in the rapidly developing Naidupeta Industrial Zone, the new facility will manufacture a diverse range of single-layer and multi-layer PCBs used across consumer electronics, automotive systems, and industrial applications. Once operational, it is expected to expand the company’s production capacity, broaden its product portfolio, and support higher-volume demand from domestic and global customers.
The unit is projected to create over 1,000 direct job opportunities, contributing to local employment and reinforcing Naidupeta’s position as an emerging industrial hub in Andhra Pradesh.
To further strengthen its capabilities, Syrma SGS has also formed a joint venture with South Korea-based Shinhyup Electronics (SH Electronics Ltd), known for its engineering expertise in PCB technology. This partnership is expected to enhance product quality and bolster the company’s global competitiveness.
