Maruti Suzuki India is set to begin production of Flex Fuel Vehicles (FFVs) within the current fiscal year, according to an announcement made by its parent company, Suzuki Motor Corporation.

In a recent technology strategy update, Suzuki Motor Corporation confirmed that the development of flex fuel vehicles is already underway, with a planned launch scheduled before the fiscal year concludes.

As part of its broader vision to contribute toward a carbon-neutral society in India, Suzuki also highlighted its biogas business as one of its unique initiatives. This was disclosed in a regulatory filing by Maruti Suzuki India, underlining the company’s dual focus on sustainable mobility solutions and renewable energy ventures.
